HCSO Narcotics Unit arrested a woman who allegedly was manufacturing meth out of a mobile home in east Harris County and recovered approximately $2 million in crystallized and liquid meth.A mom was arrested Friday after about $2 million worth of crystalized and liquid meth was found inside a east Harris County mobile home, according to authorities.
Around 7:11 a.m., Harris County dispatchers received a call from a woman at 11643 Scenic River Drive, just east of Greens Bayou, who said that she was under the influence and could not take care of her 2-year-old son, HCSO said.Members of HCSO's narcotics unit arrived to the location and found the woman was manufacturing meth at the residence, authorities added. Approximately 112 kilograms of crystallized meth and 87.2 kilograms of liquid meth were recovered from inside.
The woman was arrested and her son was taken into Child Protective Services, HCSO said. She is facing federal charges, according to a report from KTRK.
