Lance Cpl. Mason Mead tweeted praise on Nazis and uploaded a picture of himself in blackface.

ByA Hawaii-based lance corporal is being ousted from the Marine Corps after he was found to have made a series of racist and pro-Nazi tweets.

On May 7, Mead admitted an Article 92 charge, which constitutes a failure to obey an order or regulation, as reported by The Marine Corps said Mead will be discharged pending completion of administrative and medical requirements.Among some of the tweets Mead sent include an image of Spanish dictator General Francisco Franco and a Catholic official in a robe giving a Nazi salute along with the captain"I look at this image before sleep and smile."

"The Marine Corps is aware of the derogatory online comments attributed to a Marine with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment," 1st Lt. David Mancilla, a Corps spokesman for 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force, told Task and Purpose at the time.
