Martin Lawrence hypes up Bad Boys 4 by saying it could be the biggest and best one yet. The buddy cop franchise, which began in 1995, follows Lawrence and Will Smith as the dysfunctional yet dynamic detective duo Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey, who investigate dangerous drug cartels in Miami. The first two films directed by Michael Bay received unfavorable reviews from critics, though the third movie, Bad Boys for Life, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, had a more positive reception.

Though nearly nothing is known about the Bad Boys 4 story, the star hyped it up considerably. Read what he shared below:
It has the chance to be the best one of them all and everybody's doing their thing. We got a lot of the team back from the last one. Big Willie's doing his thing as always and so focused and, yeah, it has the chance to be the biggest one. What To Expect From Bad Boys 4 Bad Boys 4, which is once again directed by Adil and Bilall from a script by Chris Bremner, will feature one of the best Bad Boys casts yet, as Lawrence teases. Returning from the last film is Vanessa Hudgens as Kelly, a weapons expert from the Advanced Miami Metro Operations who serves as a key ally for Mike and Marcus. With Lawrence teasing that "we got a lot of the team back from the last one," more members of the A.M.M.O crew are expected to return.
In addition to its cast, Bad Boys 4 will look to top what's come before in terms of its high-octane action sequences. With each installment of an action franchise, there is generally an expectation to make the action bigger and more bombastic. Bad Boys 4 won't be immune to those expectations, especially after the last installment reinvigorated the long-dormant franchise.
