Several CEOs want to blacklist the Harvard students of more than two dozen student organizations that signed a controversial statement.

FILE - Students walk through a gate at Harvard University, Thursday, June 29, 2023, in Cambridge, Mass. Anonymous comments with racist, sexist and abusive messages that were posted for years on a jobs-related website for economists originated from numerous leading U.S. universities, including Harvard, Stanford, and the University of Chicago, according to research released Thursday.

Former Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz joined The National Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat to break it down. “I wasn't surprised at all. It's an automatic knee jerk that anything you ask Harvard students to sign that's anti Israel, they'll sign it immediately, often without reading it,” he said. “The fact that they were willing to sign it without even knowing what was in it, they would never have done that if it was anti-black or anti-gay.”

The backlash has been fierce with many of those students now apologizing and trying to remove their names from the list. Dershowitz believes these policies are being pushed at the collegiate level because educators are using the tuition to teach students “anti-American ideology.” “There's clearly a double standard of bigotry when it comes to Jews, when it comes to Israel and as part of the culture of Harvard, Yale, University of California, all over the country,” Dershowitz said. “It says terrible things about American education, that students in a knee jerk way just automatically aren't prepared to sign anything that's anti Israel, anti American, anti capitalist, anti free market, anti Western.
