There is shock and sadness in Connecticut after the shooting death of a 12-year-old girl in Hartford.
Three other people were hurt when shots were fired on Thursday night. Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin said Pierce was not the intended target, but the three people injured were.
"Three of them had extensive firearm involvement and criminal history. I also call on them to share whatever they know, because I believe they know who fired the bullets that killed the 12-year-old girl," said Bronin.
