Harry Dunn died after his motorbike collided with a car driven by Sacoolas near Brackley
Anne Sacoolas, the American woman accused of killing teenager Harry Dunn in a collision in West Northamptonshire, is set to appear in court in the UK, three years after the 19-year-old's death. Sacoolas, 45, was due to stand trial in January, but the case was postponed.
As wife of a CIA serviceman on the base, Sacoolas claimed diplomatic immunity and left the country for the US 19 days after the crash. A decision was reached to charge Sacoolas with causing Mr Dunn’s death by dangerous driving in December 2019.Last December, the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed Sacoolas would appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on January 18 of this year. This date was vacated, however, to “enable ongoing discussions”.
