Harry and Meghan ‘uninvited to state reception’ hosted by Charles at Buckingham Palace PrinceHarry
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been "uninvited" to a state reception hosted by King Charles III – Harry's father and the new reigning Monarch.
US President Joe Biden, French president Emmanuel Macron and the Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau are all expected to attend the Queen's funeral on Monday. Before then, a number of World leaders, ambassadors and foreign royals will attend a reception at the Palace where they will be greeted by King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, and the new Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate.
At first, it was understood that Harry would not be able to wear his military uniform after he was stripped of his military titles when he and his wife Meghan stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to California in 2020. Prince William, of course, will also be wearing his military uniform and the rest of the Queen's grandchildren will be in morning suits and dark formal dresses with decorations as they stand vigil beside their beloved late grandmother's coffin.
