“Street beat” fights have popped up in various other East Coast cities. It's now happening in Harrisburg.

event held at a city park in Harrisburg, this past weekend. 100s of people watching, yelling for “18 Rounds of fighting, with a few pauses for the young man to vomit, because he was drunk”. There’s more of these planned , an all - female fight for Harrisburg, & basically they’re people who have a “beef, who want to fight each other” for a $500 prize.

But, if they had, Lt. Kyle Gautsch said, “I got nothing. It’s not really a police matter. They’re consenting adults.” How bout a young mother brings her kids to play ball, have a picnic or walk the dogs- uh, isn’t that what a city park is for? But, when she arrives, there’s a fight going on & no wonder she didn’t call the police, because what would they do? Apparently nothing.
