Harmony of Hands programme aims to tackle the difficulties experienced by left-handed children
The recently launched through research and structured educational interventions.
Over 80% of people across the world are right-handed, making many left-handed people often feel marginalised. “Left-handedness through this program of bringing visibility around it or public awareness around it, it’s all about that inclusivity and citizenship and rights. The rights of the child are not to be left behind, the rights of the child to be able to obtain what they call the sustainable development goals in all countries. We have researchers, professors, and very skilled people who can provide this kind of training.
“Imagine a child who is black, she is poor, she is a girl, and she is left-handed, in a school where teachers are not trained to support her. What happens to her?
