HappyValley star would do season 4 'in a heartbeat' amid police officer theory
Happy Valley 's Ryan Cawood star Rhys Connah has revealed he would do a fourth season "in a heartbeat" amid fans' theories he could return as a police officer in the future.
And creator Sally Wainwright and Catherine Cawood star Sarah Lancashire, who also acted as an executive producer, have insisted that series three was the final ever instalment of Happy Valley. Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning, Rhys said: "If Sally asked me to do pretty much any role again, I would be completely up for it."
The young actor continued: "But if in seven years Sally came to me and said: 'Do you want to play Ryan seven years on when he’s a police officer?'
