Happy Pay, South Africa's only independent buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) provider, has partnered with Edgars to offer its BNPL service to Edgars customers. This partnership allows Edgars shoppers to split their purchases over two paycheques, interest-free.

Edgars joins a long list of companies which have partnered with Happy Pay to offer a BNPL option to their customers. Patrick Postrehovsky, Co-Founder and COO at Happy Pay, stated that retailers chose to partner with Happy Pay as they receive access to new customers, bigger average basket sizes, and better conversion metrics.The funding was secured from several venture capital investment firms, including co-lead investors E4E Africa and 4Di Capital.
