reported that Royal AM had made initial contact to add the experienced Jele to their squad for next seasonJele departed Orlando Pirates after a 16-year stay at the Buccaneers and now seems set to sign with the Durban-based outfit.
According to sources within the club, Royal AM club boss Shaun Mkhize is expected to meet with Jele to seek to finalise a deal on Tuesday."Royal AM have handed Happy Jele their offer," the source revealed to"They are expected to meet on Tuesday to finalise a deal. If things go well, the club is expected to unveil him imminently."
Jele is expected to join Royal AM as a free agent after officially parted ways with Orlando Pirates yesterday. The 35-year-old made over 400 appearances for Pirates after making his debut as a teenager back in 2006. Pirates confirmed that the defender had turned down a non-playing role within the club as he wished to continue his playing career.
