Just over a week after winning the Rugby World Cup with the Springboks, Rassie Erasmus celebrates his 51st birthday.

For the Springboks and Rassie Erasmus, the celebrations continue after an epic World Cup triumph last weekend, with the trophy parade across South Africa having once again highlighted how much the win meant to the country.

Sunday, 5 November, is also a special occasion for Rassie as he celebrates his 51st birthday on the same day as the Springboks will take part in the final leg of their trophy tour in East London, starting and finishing at the Garden Court Hotel from 10h00 until approximately 14h00.Rassie set to coach the Boks again

“We will do the wash-up of the tour and talk about where we will go next, but there is no rush ,” SA Rugby president Mark Alexander has stated. “We have the director of rugby to fill in that role in the meantime and we are taking our time to see the other coaches within the system and then we will make a decision.

Erasmus is contracted to 2025, but there is even a chance that SA Rugby could look to extend his services for the next four-year cycle.
