Handre Pollard says there is a real belief in the Springbok squad that they’re on the right track to take their game to the next level.Since the start of this season, the Springboks have steadfastly stuck to a player rotation system, while also beginning to evolve their style of play – particularly on attack under the guidance of new assistant coach Tony Brown.
“After the 2019 World Cup, we missed out on the first couple of years, but those first two years is where you really build and experiment. “It really excites us because we’re in a good place, but we want more, and we want to become better. We’re striving to go up another level and the excitement is certainly there.”There is every chance that the Springboks will wrap up the Rugby Championship title in Argentina on Saturday, and Rassie Erasmus said a solid foundation had been laid up to this point.
