With Halloween approaching at a scary pace there are some spooktacular ways families can mark the annual event in and around Southport.

Tickets are £20 and include unlimited access to all rides for the whole night. For more information visit here.Join The Vincent Hotel for their Spooky Afternoon Tea. Running from October 25 to 31 you can expect the unexpected with creepy crawly cakes, scary scones, and a cauldron of Jam. The hotel will also be decorated to help get you into the Halloween spirit.

Tickets are £16.95 for adults and £18.95 for children, under 1s go free, and include full access to Windmill Animal Farm attraction as well as a pumpkin of your choice and the Runaway Farm Train. Don’t forget your wellies!Want a night of frighteningly good entertainment? Head to Formby Hall Golf Resort on October 27 for their Halloween Horrors Murder Mystery. Enjoy an eerie night of entertainment as you try to work out who the Halloween murderer is.

While you’re there you can explore the beautiful Rufford Old House, a fine Tudor House and colourful garden, home to five centuries of Lancashire history.
