'I tell you that the fight is not over for me.' Sebastien Haller announces he requires further surgery to recover from testicular tumour
Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller has announced he will undergo surgery to remove a testicular tumour.Haller attended the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris last monthHaller, who has 15 caps for the Ivory Coast, was most recently seen at the 2022 Ballon d’Or ceremony, where he presented the Yashin Trophy award to Thibaut Courtois.
The forward tweeted: “As planned from the beginning, different possibilities were considered following the chemo. I tell you that the fight is not over for me. “I will have to undergo an operation to permanently end this tumour which keeps me away from the pitch,” he added.“I want to thank you all for the messages of support and the strength you give me in this ordeal. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.”He signed a four-year deal, after scoring an impressive 32 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions for the Dutch club last season.
