The 27-year-old Black entered the final rotation in fifth place and needed a big score. Black delivered a score of 14.033 in the vault, but it wasn't enough to make the podium.
Black opened the All-Around final with a 13.933 on uneven bars. Next up was the balance beam, but a couple of small wobbles led to a 13.433 score. Black scored 13.333 on the floor routine.She qualified for the All-Around final with an 11th-place score of 54.131 on Sunday. On Tuesday, Black competed on all four appartus and finished with a 55.166 score to help Canada secure the bronze medal in the team competition.
