Before the judge gave her decision, defence lawyer Paul Niefer said the port authority will pay to have a bench bearing Wile’s name installed on parkland planned for the site, as suggested by his widow, Alysen Coady. The port authority contracted David Seaboyer of SiteLogic Construction Management Inc. of Dartmouth to manage day-to-day operations at the infill project. Seaboyer’s contact person with the port authority was its environmental manager.
