The seventh annual Gulf Coast Challenge is only 4 months away. On Thursday representatives from Jackson State University and Alabama A&M University were in mobile talking about the upcoming game. Jackson State University and Alabama A&M University will go head-to-head at Ladd Peebles Stadium on October 5th.
Alabama A&M head football coach Connell Maynor spoke to fans, city officials, and event organizers on Thursday. "We're excited. We are very excited about this opportunity to play Jackson up here. We think it will have championship implications and so we look forward to it,” said Maynor."We know how many people come to the Vet, but we also want to bring the Vet to Ladd, so if we can get that word out,” said Jarome.of Ladd Peebles Stadium where the game has been held for the past 6 years. In 2023 the city sold the stadium to Mobile County Public Schools.
