UK politicians, celebrities and public figures are among the 2,000-strong congregation due to arrive at Westminster Abbey for the Queen’s funeral
Laura Lopes, Tom Parker Bowles and their family arrive at Westminster Abbey ahead of The State funeral of Queen Elizabeth II including Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles and the Princess of Wales’ parents. Carole and Michael Middleton arrived two hours early for the service, followed by the Queen Consort’s son Mr Parker Bowles and his family.
UK politicians, celebrities and public figures are among the 2,000-strong congregation due to arrive at Westminster Abbey this morning.Chief medical officer for England Prof Chris Whitty arrived in a coach which pulled up outside the building carrying MPs and other dignitaries. MPs including Chancellor Nadham Zahawi, defence secretary Ben Wallace and British Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg have also taken their places inside the Abbey.Most of the VIPs met at the Royal Hospital Chelsea before being transported into Central London on a coach.This story is being updated…
