Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3's Cosmo actress, Maria Bakalova, praises director James Gunn's filmmaking approach. Kevin Feige recently revealed the slate of movies and shows set to release during Marvel's Phase 5 and 6 during San Diego Comic-Con, confirming a Phase 5 release for the third and final volume for the Guardians of the Galaxy. Set to release May 5, 2023, Gunn has already revealed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be the conclusion for this iteration of the Guardians.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Vol. 3 will take place after Avengers: Endgame, with Star-Lord presumably leading a search across the cosmos for the past version of Gamora . In between that, though, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will introduce a slew of new Marvel characters, from Chukwudi Iwuji's villain the High Evolutionary to Will Poulter's highly-anticipated Adam Warlock. Bakalova, meanwhile, was announced to be playing Cosmo at San Diego Comic-Con.

Bakalova is far from the only star to praise Gunn's work, with those like Peacemaker's Robert Patrick and Guardians of the Galaxy's own Karen Gillan complimenting his style over the years. He has long been praised for his creativity and willingness to have fun with his projects. By all accounts, a Gunn set is a welcoming place to work, so it's no surprise that Bakalova would eagerly join one again. It helps that the odds of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
The Guardians of the Galaxy have been beloved by viewers since their introduction to the MCU in 2014. That means there is a lot of anticipation surrounding Vol. 3. Luckily, though, the famous faces behind the film have so far spoken very highly of what Gunn has planned. Bakalova joins that group, though her kind words stem from Gunn's work ethic more than anything else. Nevertheless, this bodes well for the 2023 movie. While it is unclear what will happen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
