Four new vegan items have also been added to the menu
Greggs has announced a big menu shake-up, including the introduction of four new vegan items - and a snack that could rival McDonald's.
In the next couple of days, customers nationwide will be able to get their hands on the Warm Winter Vegetable Soup and the Vegan Chicken-Free Cajun Roll, which was trialled in a small number of shops last year. Meanwhile the Vegan Southern Fried Chicken-Free Baguette and Vegan Chicken-Free Goujons are already in stores.
The on-the-go retailer also has hash browns on the menu, a favourite for many McDonald's customers and for those who need their early-morning potato fix. From Thursday the Warm Winter Vegetable Soup will be available from £2.40. It's also part of the savoury roll deal, meaning you can get the soup and a roll from £2.70, or add wedges for an extra £1.The Vegan Cajun Chicken-Free Roll will be available from Saturday January 7, from £3.05.
It will be part of the sandwich deal, where you can get a sandwich and any drink from £3.60, or add wedges for an extra £1. All the vegan items can also be ordered via Click + Collect through the Greggs App or website and are available for delivery exclusively via Just Eat. Read today's top stories here
