The 21-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since January last year, when he was arrested and charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault.After the charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February, the Manchester club announced they would conduct their own investigation into the matter.
While United continue their inquiry, Greenwood has reportedly been told he would not be allowed to return to training before the end of the season at the earliest. Despite this, though, the forward was said to be"ready to run through a brick wall" to be part of Erik ten Hag's side again. Now, however, it seems Greenwood's stance has changed as he has told friends he feels his time at Old Trafford is over, and that he is looking to reignite his career abroad, according to "He's sat at home kicking his heels and very frustrated.
"He wants to get back playing football but realises his situation is very complicated and it's his own doing."He is determined to play football again but doesn't think he'll ever pull on a United shirt ever again."
