‘More devalued than the British pound!’ 🤝 💰 Paul Hollywood dusted off his handshake for the first time this series on The Great British Bake Off on Tuesday, with the judge dishing out not one but two of the coveted congratulatory hand pumps.
Dawn was the first baker to receive one for her yo-yo design macrons, with fellow judgeMaxy followed up her success afterwards in the signature challenge too, as her daisy-shaped macrons, inspired by her young daughters, were also lavished with praise.
However, viewers at home appeared to be over the famous handshake, complaining that the judge now whips them up more quickly and easily than he used to.‘The Hollywood Handshake has lost all meaning. Handing them out in week two, old Paul would NEVER have done it,’ complained one viewer on social media.
