Grateful Dead fans will be disappointed to learn that the upcoming Phil Lesh & Friends show at Stanford University’s Frost Amphitheater has been canceled.
Bassist-bandleader Lesh, who is enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Grateful Dead, made the announcement viaNo reason — beyond “unforeseen circumstances” — was given for the cancellation. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Phil Lesh & Friends show on May 5, 2023 at Frost Amphitheater has been canceled,” the Instagram post reads. “Tickets will be refunded automatically at the original point of purchase. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.Lesh and Friends last performed at Frost Amphitheater in June 22. (
