Last month, the department of sport, arts and culture spent a whopping R16 million for 360 guests at an event to honour South Africa’s Grammy Award winners.in a written reply to the DA’s question in Parliament. Kodwa revealed that the total amount to host the event, which had been held at The Galleria conference centre in Woodmead, Sandton, was R16 097 000.
