The provincial government has announced $1.4 billion dollars in spending on highway and roads infrastructure in the province over the next five years.He calls it the largest amount of spending on highway infrastructure in the history of the province over a five-year period.
$225 million of the total amount will be spend on roads work in 2023-24. He says the funding does not include federal cost-shared projects.Projects selected for the province’s roads plan each year continue to be selected based on:• Commercial, industry, and tourism impacts;
