Images from the scene now appear to show the aftermath of the inferno which tore through the garage. It has been confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.50am on Thursday, 2 November, to reports of a fire within a commercial building in South Annandale Street, Glasgow.“Firefighters currently remain on the scene working to make the area safe. There are no casualties.” A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Thursday, 2 November, 2023, police were made aware of a fire in the South Annandale Street area of Glasgow. Officers remain at the scene providing assistance to SFRS colleagues.”Emergency services raced to a property in the Thornliebank area of Glasgow after reports of the sudden death of a man - the death is not being treated as suspicious.
