Police responded to theft call from Meijer at 2:08 p.m. April 9 and were told the suspect left the store after failing to pay for an undetermined amount of trading cards. A description of his vehicle was provided and the suspect was identified as a Middleburg Heights man through Flock camera technology. He was contacted by police, cited for theft and said he would return the stolen merchandise to the store.A resident reported being bitten by his neighbor’s dog at 11:37 p.m. April 8.

The driver was reportedly uncooperative with officers and was arrested for obstructing official business and having expired license plates.Officers responded to a complaint of a male passed out in a vehicle in a parking lot at 10:23 p.m. April 9. The man appeared impaired, failed field sobriety tests and a breath test. He was cited for operating a motor vehicle impaired and open container and released to a sober family member.
