JOHANNESBURG - Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan and Eskom board chairperson Jabu Mabuza are set to update the nation on the load-shedding crisis on Tuesday.Stage 4 electricity cutsSouth Africans have expressed outrage over the outages and consumers are being urged to switch off all non-essential appliances in order to help lower demand.

The power utility insists there is no real need to worry, as 80-percent of the country's power demand is still being met.
