Michigan Rep. Justin Amash rocked Washington over the weekend when he became the first Republican to declare that President Trump committed impeachable offenses

This is shaping up to be yet another busy week on the oversight front, with the House Intelligence, Judiciary and Oversight committees once again taking center stage.the House Intelligence Committee will formally vote to release the transcript of Michael Cohen’s two interviews before the panel earlier this year. Sourcesafter those interviews that Cohen provided documents to the committee showing that his false 2017 testimony was edited by one of the president’s attorneys.
against Attorney General William Barr after the Justice Department defied the panel’s subpoena for the unredacted Mueller report and all of its underlying foreign intelligence and counterintelligence information. Schiff hasn’t yet said how he plans to enforce the subpoena — but the committee will take up such an action later this week, Schiff told reporters last week. Stay tuned…before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, but whether he’ll actually show up is far from certain.
