According to police, the victim had stopped because it looked like people needed help on the side of the road.
A good Samaritan was shot and wounded during a carjacking late Tuesday night in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia, police say.According to police, the 43-year-old male victim had been driving his Mercedes in the northbound outer lanes when he was flagged down by people on the side of the road who appeared to need assistance.
Instead, police say, those same people approached the driver with guns. There was a struggle and the victim was shot in the back. The two male suspects then got into the man's Mercedes and took off northbound on the 400 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.The stolen vehicle is a white 2015 Mercedes Benz with a Pennsylvania license LLH-4129.
Philadelphia police are looking for surveillance video to get more detailed descriptions of the two suspects.
