The 'wit kant' jokes are still flying, as Springboks hooker Bongi Mbonambi threw yet another jab in celebration of the Rugby World Cup win.

PARIS, FRANCE – OCTOBER 28: Springboks celebrating their victory as World Champions after the Rugby World Cup 2023 final match between New Zealand and South Africa at Stade de France on October 28, 2023 in Paris, France.

The Springboks are on a high following their historic victory over the All Blacks on Saturday, 28 October, at the Stade de France – and what better way to celebrate the monumental win than to burst into song? A video shared by Boks hooker Mbongeni “Bongi” Mbonambi, on his Instagram, shows the 2023 Rugby World Cup champions singing some of their favourite amagwijo whilst in their bus.

The Springboks etched their names into the annals of rugby history by becoming the first team to ever win the coveted Webb Ellis Cup four times. This is after the Bokke beat the All Blacks 12-11 in the final. In the IG Live video, an ecstatic Mbonambi also mocks the Tom Curry racism row by shouting “good morning dai kant” to South Africans back home.Last week, a World Rugby investigation found insufficient evidence to launch disciplinary proceedings against Mbonambi after Curry had told referee Ben O’Keeffe that the Boks hooker had called him a “white c—” during England’s semi-final defeat.
