A West Shore Police service dog is getting lots of treats after helping track down a wanted man.
On Wednesday, West Shore RCMP was following up on a lead regarding a wanted man who was spotted at a rural property near the 900 block of Neff Road in Metchosin.Police say the wanted man ran from officers.The wanted man, 38-year-old Layton Sterns, was arrested for outstanding warrants, including failure to attend court and two counts of driving while prohibited.
