The Rockets were led by a natural hat trick Saturday from Carson Golder, which bumped him to 19 goals on the season. They also received a 29-save outing from Jari Kykkanen. Jesper Vikman made 27 saves for Vancouver. Dylan Anderson made it 1-1 when his power play point shot found pay dirt for his third of the season for Vancouver.
The Giants, who are seventh in the WHL’s Western Conference, will spend Sunday scoreboard watching, paying specific attention to the fourth-place Tri-City Americans facing the fifth-place Everett Silvertips in Everett.
