"Exclusive to the new Switch version of the 1997 title will be online play, allowing 007 fans across the world to take part in the popular four-person multiplayer mode," the post reads.about GoldenEye 007 doesn't mention anything about online play, only local-split-screen multiplayer. Online play in the Nintendo Switch version will likely be down to Nintendo's Switch Online emulation, but the question still remains whether or not the Xbox version will have any sort of online multiplayer functionality.
