The Internet is praising Golden Nugget Atlantic City for keeping up an outdated billboard. The reason? The billboard is hosting a nest of ospreys.
The advertisement promoted shows by Frankie Avalon on April 30 and Dionne Warwick on May 14. The casino addressed the outdated billboard in a“For those who have been wondering, we are aware of our outdated entertainment billboard on the AC expressway,” the casino’sreads. “Golden Nugget is doing our part in helping to conserve our local wildlife, the Ospreys.
The endangered bird is currently nesting on top of our billboard, and we will have to wait until nesting season is over, after September 1, to change the message on this board. Thank you for your understanding!”, ospreys are carnivorous birds. Their wings span up to 6 feet and they can live up to 30 years. Though the species is “widely distributed” globally, mostly resides in coastal areas, due to its love for eating fish.
