Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire will be released on Mar 15, 2024.
It is the fifth film in Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse – a franchise centred around King Kong and monster characters created by Toho Co, Ltd including Godzilla and Mothra.
Actors Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry will return for the sequel which will star Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens. Also returning to direct is Adam Wingard whose credits include 2016's Blair Witch and 2017's Death Note.
