'God was calling me to write': Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow pens memoir

Former Miss Universe and Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Tebow has written her first book,Inspired by the crowning of her Miss Universe successor and the lessons she learnt after, the book is scheduled for release in August.

Tebow was crowned Miss Universe in 2017, becoming the second South African to win the title after Margaret Gardiner, 39 years earlier. "I'm very grateful for being able to represent my home country as Miss South Africa. It's truly one of the biggest honours. And then to go on and win Miss Universe and be the first girl from South Africa to win Miss Universe in 39 years and get to just carry the South African flag so high for that year was another super big honour," she said in an interview with the publication.
