In a picture posted on social media, Tatjana Smith donned a T-shirt with the names of everyone who inspired her career. It came as no surprise for the proud Christian that the first names on her list was “God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit”. Next on the list was her husband, Joel Smith – the brother of Rachel Kolisi – as well as her parents, Rene and Renske Schoenmaker.
According to X user @David_Isaacson, the long tribute also included the name of Lara van Niekerk, who failed to qualify for the OlympicsTatjana Smith shows off her shirt displaying the names of people who have played a role in her swimming career.
