Bremen had an almost immediate response, as Anthony Jung levelled matters four minutes later with a first-time strike on the far side of the box after he was picked out by Michell Weiser. Gnabry eventually restored the lead for Julian Nagelsmann's charges moments later with a clinical shot from another rebound in the box, before Leon Goretzka made it 3-1 with chip over the last defender after he rounded Pavlenka.

Mathys Tel made it 6-1 for Bayern a couple of minutes later, as they were running riot, with a looping strike that was tipped in off the crossbar by Pavlenka.Borussia Dortmund missed the chance to move up to second on the table after a 2-0 defeat against Wolfsburg at Volkswagen Arena. Dortmund remain in fourth place on the table, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich while Wolfsburg moved up to eighth.Bochum revived their survival hopes after a narrow 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach at Vonovia Ruhrstadion.

Bochum remained second-from-bottom, three points from safety while Gladbach dropped down to ninth on the table.Stuttgart moved out of the relegation zone after a last-gasp 2-1 win over Hertha Berlin at Mercedes-Benz Arena.
