Good Morning Britain bosses 'offer Susanna Reid new shows' after 'tension' on set GoodMorningBritain
Bosses at Good Morning Britain are reportedly keen to "offer Susanna Reid new shows" at ITV, after tensions are said to have been rising on the set of the flagship morning news programme.
The 52 year old presenter was said to have been "left furious" after several spelling mistakes were made on the on-screen text in recent weeks, and a source claimed that she had "made her feelings very clear" to show bosses about the errors. A source told the The Sun: "GMB has some phenomenal programming ideas built around Susanna for later this year, all ones to which she has typically very proactively contributed to and helped build and inspire, so why would she walk away from them?"One of the recent mistakes on Good Morning Britain, said to have incensed Susanna, was the misspelling of news correspondent Ben Chapman’s name, who was reporting live from war-torn country, Ukraine.
Susanna is the main anchor on Good Morning Britain, presenting alongside the likes of Richard Madeley and Ed Balls, following the departure of her former co-presenter, Piers Morgan, in March 2021.
