Ballydoyle maestro O'Brien may take the Group Two HKJC World Pool Vintage Stakes with the promising THE PARTHENON. The two-year-old son of Kingman was a decent fifth on his debut in the six-furlong Group Three Marble Hill Stakes at the Curragh in May. He built on that promise to score in a maiden at Gowran Park, when stepped up to this seven furlongs for the first time. He looks another talented O'Brien's juvenile and is sure to keep on improving.
LORD RIDDIFORD can land an astonishing fourth victory in a row in the Coral Racing Club Handicap and a fifth career win at the Glorious meeting. The John and Sean Quinn-trained nine-year-old may be into the veteran stage now but back down to an attractive handicap mark he can score again at a track and in a race he loves. He has won this race off handicap marks of 88, 87 and 84 for the past three seasons and now down to 82 he can score again.
