Benchmark stock indexes in Asia rise, commodity markets extend last week’s rallies and futures linked to the S&P 500 advance
In morning trade in Hong Kong, most stock benchmarks in the Asia Pacific region were up less than 1%. Japan’s Nikkei 225, South Korea’s Kospi Composite, the Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index added between 0.
