The Glens youngsters tasted success on their debut in the Under-8 section of the tournament
The coaches of Glentoran Under-8s have hailed the achievements of their young players after they tasted success at the Foyle Cup at the very first time of asking.
"The coaching staff, club and parents are filled with immense pride and delighted with the team's dedication and determination, as a combination of talent, skill, resilience and unity led them to victory. These young players may only be starting out on their footballing journey, but Young said there is a real buzz following their success at the Foyle Cup. "Having competitions for players at this age group is excellent," he said.
