The son of Glentoran legend Andy Kirk has been tipped to become a striking talisman for Scottish Premiership side Hearts.
The 19-year-old has scored an incredible 18 goals in 14 appearances this season, including 17 in 13 games in the Lowland League. He has also captained the side once and provided two assists.Tuesday's goals are the second time he has netted four times in a game this season, while he also got a hat-trick in another game. In total he has scored 34 goals in 39 appearances for Hearts' B team
Neilson said: “It was good for Mackenzie to come on. He’s had a wee injury, then he came back in and scored in the Youth Cup semi-final recently. He has been doing well and he is a natural finisher.
