Glasgow's weather could soon pick up ☀️
If you can believe it, it's now July and although we're well into summer now with many now off for the holidays, it feels as though this year is going by a little too fast.
According to weather forecasters, whilst Glasgow is to remain it's usual self staying mainly dry with a few spells of rain here and there, Scotland as a whole is in for a potential summer heatwave this month.In a tweet by the Met Office, the experts have said that a "jet stream" will bring in fresh Atlantic air across the UK. This means it will likely result in better weather for not just us but other parts of Europe too.
According to the Met Office, they define a heatwave as “an extended period of hot weather relative to the expected conditions of the area at that time of year.”
