Glasgow has been issued with two yellow weather warnings by the Met Office
In the weather update, announced this morning , forecasters issued the alert for rain and wind with "travel disruption" expected across both days.
According to the latest weather reports, the first of the two warnings is set to come into force from midnight tomorrow where it will remain in place until 10pm the same day.The Met Office has said that "heavy rain will lead to some travel disruption Tuesday morning" ahead of a second warning for wind the following day.
Discussing the rain warning they said: "Rain will turn heavy and persistent across western Scotland during the early hours of Tuesday, clearing southeast during the morning. Widely 30 to 50 mm of rainfall is likely with perhaps 80 mm over some of the mountains." Whilst the rain warning only covers parts of Scotland, the whole of the country is set to be impacted by the wind warning with parts of England also under the warning too.
