The 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following the incident in Queen's Park. A 17-year-old boy has now been arrested and charged in connection.
A teenager has been arrested and charged following the alleged serious assault of a 13-year-old boy in Glasgow's Queen's Park.
The incident happened on Friday, March 8 in the southside park. Emergency services rushed to the scene near Victoria Road and the youngster was rushed to Glasgow Children's Hospital. Police Scotland has now confirmed a 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 13 March, 2024.Detective Inspector Phillip Kennedy said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance with our investigation into this incident.”
