Clyde Street currently remains closed between Saltmarket and Stockwell Street.
A busy street in the city centre has been 'completely shut off' after police discovered an injured man near the River Clyde this afternoon.
An eyewitness at the scene told GlasgowLive: "I was walking near the Barrowland's and an ambulance passed me with lights and sirens. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Friday, 11 August, police attended the Clyde Street area of Glasgow, following the discovery of an injured man."Emergency services remain at the scene and the road is currently closed.”
